The Import Section of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce is organizing a seminar titled "The Opportunities in Port Development" on Friday 25th February 2011 commencing 2.30 pm at the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, 50 Navam Mawatha, Colombo 2.

Speakers at this event will be Dr. Priyath B, Wickrama, Chairman Sri Lanka Ports Authority, G.A. Thalagala, Director Operations, Sri Lanka Ports Authority, Capt. / A. V. Rajendra, former Chairman CASA, Nalin Dharmapriya, Freight Links International. The seminar is targeted for Managing Directors'/CEOs', Decision Makers, Importers/Exporters, Freight Forwarders, Shipping Agents and others interested in knowing about Sri Lanka Ports. The objective of the seminar is to envision the future of Sri Lanka Ports.

The Import Section of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce is an affiliated Trade Organization of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce and has been in existence for the past 75 years and has been an influential and effective voice of the importers in the business community.
