Hon. Dayasritha Thisera appointed as the new Deputy Minister of Port and Aviation assumed duties at office at the SLPA premises. The new Deputy Minister assuming duties stated that he was happy of the portfolio handed over by His Excellency the President Mahinda Rajapaksa, to serve his best in a sector where several mega development projects have been launched aiming the future socio-economic development of the country. Secretary of the Ministry of Port and Aviation Mr. K.C.P.Ranjith De Silva,   executive Director of SLPA Dr. Sanjaya Sedara Senarath, Working Director of SLPA Mr.Prasana Kalutharage, Mrs. Cheril Thisera and the three daughters of Hon. Deputy Minister Dayasritha Thisera, and the Chief Organizer of the Sri Lanka Nidahas Sevaka Sangamaya Mr. Hemantha Kalutharage also participated  at the occasion.
