'Shipping international trade and logistics skills'
 


The Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Sri Lanka (FCCISL) in collaboration with the Institute of Shipping and Logistics have organised a one day seminar on "Shipping, International Trade and Logistics skills "for non Shipping Professionals" on April 13 at the Holiday Inn Hotel.

The Shipping and Logistics industry is indispensable and vital to sustain human life and commercial shipping carries 95 per cent of international trade.

The USA spends 900.00 billion annually on Logistics while globally it exceeds $ 3.50 Trillion. The objective of the seminar is to provide a reasonably good background knowledge of the Shipping industry to non Shipping professionals employed in the corporate sector and allied industries such as Banking, Finance, Accountancy, Management, Marketing, Insurance, Apparel and Export/Import activities.

The topics would be presented by an eminent team of lecturers.
