Oluvil Port in Sri Lanka The construction work on the Oluvil Port will be completed in October next year. One third of the construction is now complete, Project Manager Hans Jorgen said at a special press conference held at the Oluvil Port premises recently.
The Oluvil Port comprising a stretch of 1.4 kilometres will include a commercial harbour and a fisheries harbour.
The Project Manager said on completion the commercial harbour could handle six vessels of ten thousand tons simultaneously. The construction is carried out by Denmark’s MT Hojgaard Company. |
